Generate a new image

Generate a new image from text; pick the model and aspect ratio that suit the job.

The result appears in the left panel’s results first; adding it to the canvas is a separate action. To edit an existing image, use the AI Image panel on the right rail.

Follow these steps

    Open the panel

    Choose a model

    Nano Banana 2 is fast and good for everything; it is the default. Nano Banana Pro gives the highest detail and legible text. GPT Image 2 follows instructions closely and is strong at text and layout. FLUX.2 Pro stands out for photorealistic products and scenes, Ideogram V3 for posters and typography, Recraft V3 for illustration. The selected model’s credit cost is shown above the prompt box.

    Choose an aspect ratio

    Choose square, portrait, landscape, wide or tall. The result is generated in that ratio and added to the canvas in its own proportions.

    Describe the result

    Describe the subject, layout, lighting and details to keep. If you want text in the image, put it in quotes and choose Ideogram V3, GPT Image 2 or Nano Banana Pro. Enter or the send button starts the run.

    Add it to the page

    EditorAI ImageAdd to canvas

    Use Add to canvas on the result you like. The result is also saved to your uploads. Regenerate makes a new attempt with the same model and ratio and uses credits again.

Result

Inspect the generated image both at full size and in the page layout.
