Work with templates and layout presets

Last updated: September 8, 2026 · 2 min read

Start from a ready-made design or reuse your own layout.

A catalog template starts a catalog. An editor layout preset inserts objects into the current page.

Follow these steps

  1. 1

    Choose a starting design

    EditorTemplates

Browse templates on the start screen and create a catalog from a suitable design. Replace sample copy and images. A finished-looking template does not mean its links or products are already yours.

  2. 2

    Insert a layout

    EditorLibraryTemplates

Click a layout preset in the editor library. Its objects are added to the existing page rather than clearing its content. Position the newly selected objects and resolve overlaps.

  3. 3

    Save your own preset

    LayersSave as Template

Select the objects you want to reuse and name them through the save-template action in Layers or the context menu. Check the selection scope; this is not a saved revision of the whole catalog.

  4. 4

    Review reused content

    EditorLibrary

After inserting a preset again, review its text, product links, images, styles, and accessibility descriptions. The new use may need different content from the original.

Result

Complete the design with your own content and remove any accidentally overlapping copies.
