Use the Quick tools bar

Last updated: September 8, 2026 · 3 min read

Add content, navigate pages, and adjust the bar without leaving the canvas.

The controls on the left add content or enable drawing; the controls after the divider act on pages.

Follow these steps

  1. 1

    Find or restore the bar

    EditorViewQuick tools

The bar sits below the canvas. If it is hidden, enable Quick tools in View. Hover over an icon to see the command name.

  2. 2

    Add text and shapes

    EditorQuick toolsAdd text

Click the text icon or its arrow, then choose Heading, Subheading, Paragraph, or Curved text. The shape menu offers Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, Star, and Blob. Choosing an item immediately adds it to the page. The main icon may reflect your last choice; clicking it again opens the menu.

  3. 3

    Draw with the Pen tool

    EditorQuick toolsPen tool (draw)

The Pen button enables drawing mode and becomes highlighted. Draw your path on the canvas. Click the button again to return to selection mode. Follow the Pen tool lesson for points, curves, and finishing a path.

  4. 4

Add an image, button, or icon

    EditorQuick toolsAdd image

The image icon inserts an empty image block; choose its image afterward. The pointer-shaped Add button inserts a button block: it is not the selection tool. The star-shaped Add icon opens a short icon list. Choose one to insert it, or use All Icons to open the elements library on the left.

  5. 5

    Move between pages

    EditorQuick toolsPrevious page

Use the left and right arrows to select the previous or next page. Previous is disabled on the first page, and Next on the last. These arrows are not Undo and Redo.

  6. 6

Add, duplicate, or delete a page

    EditorQuick toolsAdd new page

The page-plus icon inserts an empty page immediately after the current page and opens it. The overlapping-page icon duplicates the current page immediately after it. The trash icon deletes the entire current page. Deletion is disabled when the catalog has only one page.

  7. 7

    Minimize or hide the bar

    EditorQuick toolsMinimize quick add bar

Minimize leaves only the expand and hide controls. Expand restores the full bar. The crossed-out eye hides it completely; restore it from View > Quick tools. Visibility and minimized state are remembered in this browser. When the bottom page strip is open, the bar moves above it.

Result

You can add content, navigate to the intended page, and restore the bar after hiding it.
