Lay products out on pages with a template
Last updated: September 13, 2026 · 4 min read
Place the selected products on pages with one of five templates, then edit every block freely or swap the product with one click.
A generated page is made of ordinary blocks: image, name, price, description, SKU and the cart button are separate blocks, and the product data is written into them. If the product record changes later the page does not change by itself; use Change in the Product section to refill it. The blocks of one product sit in a group and move together; double-click to enter the group.
Follow these steps
- 1
Select the products
EditorProducts
Open the Products tab in the left library. Search by name, SKU or brand and tick the rows. The box at the start of the toolbar selects or clears everything in the visible list; on a long list continue with Show 25 more. The selection count is shown in the toolbar.
- 2
Open the lay-out dialog
EditorProductsLay the selected products out on pages
Click the book icon in the toolbar. The Lay products out on pages dialog opens; each template card's schematic shows how many products go on a page. Showcase, full page holds one product; Half-page pair two; Editorial 1+2 three; Grid 2×3 six; List / table pours products into a table of 18 rows per page.
The summary line tells you the page count right away: 7 products with Grid 2×3 make 2 pages.
- 3
Set the order and the target
EditorProductsWhere
Pick Selection order, By name, By SKU or By price. Type a page number into Where: pages are inserted after that page, 0 puts them at the start; the default is the current page. When the selected products have categories, the Break page when category changes switch appears: every category starts on a new page with its name as a heading.
- 4
Generate the pages
EditorProductsGenerate pages
Generate N pages adds the pages and jumps to the first new one. Image, name, price, description and SKU blocks fill the template frames in order; the cart button comes linked to the product and reads Add to Cart. Text blocks flow one under another; font sizes scale with the frame but never drop below a readable floor.
- 5
Change the product or remove the link
PropertiesProduct
Click a product on the page; the group is selected and a Product section appears at the top of the Properties panel: product summary, Change and Remove. Change opens the product picker; choosing a product refills every block in the group (image, name, price, description, SKU, button). Remove only drops the product link; blocks and content stay.
Change overwrites manual text edits; the text style is kept, the text changes.
- 6
Pick the image from the gallery
PropertiesProductImage
Double-click to select the product's image block. The Product section lists the product gallery as thumbnails; click one and the block shows it. Upload adds the file to the product gallery and puts it in the block. Because the block is an ordinary image, crop, filters and the AI tools work as usual.
- 7
If you only want single cards or a product list
EditorProductsAdd selected products
To add cards without generating pages, click the plus button and choose Horizontal card or Vertical card; one product card per selected product is added to the current page. The table icon adds a product list block filled with the selected products; with no selection you get an empty table.
Options in the dialog
Fields in the Lay products out on pages dialog.
| Option | Where? | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Template | Editor | Products per page and the frame layout; five choices. |
| Order | Editor | Selection order, name, SKU or price. |
| Where | Editor | Where the pages go; a page number, 0 for the start. |
| Break page when category changes | Editor | Starts every category on a new page with its name as heading. |
| Product: Change / Remove | Properties | Refills every block of the group with a new product / drops the product link. |
Check your result
In the Pages panel the new pages line up after the selected page; each page holds as many groups as the template has products. Clicking a product shows the right product in the Product section, and in preview the cart button adds that product.
