Prepare a print PDF
Last updated: September 8, 2026 · 2 min read
Generate and review a print file that retains the design.
In the editor, downloading can generate the print file if it is not ready. Choosing Print alone is not an accessible-PDF certification.
Follow these steps
- 1
Review the design
EditorPreview
Review text, images, edges, and page order. Consider printed equivalents for digital actions, such as descriptive links or QR codes.
- 2
Choose Print PDF
ExportPDFPrint
Choose PDF and Print in Export. The editor’s vector print path can generate the current draft or use a ready current publication file. Read the on-screen explanation and file details.
- 3
Wait for generation
ExportPrint PDFDownload
Start the download. Read busy or page-limit messages before retrying. The progress indicator is not a verified page count; wait for the file.
- 4
Inspect the print file
ExportPDF file
Inspect pages and typography, then zoom in to check image quality. Compare the file with your printer’s color, bleed, and trim requirements. Vector output does not mean photographs become vectors.
Result
Review the actual file you will send to the printer. Use the separate accessible download when that is required.
