Adding, duplicating and reordering pages

Learn how to add pages to a catalog, duplicate an existing page, change the order and delete pages.
The Pages panel on the right shows page numbers and page icons. Single view lists one page per row; spread view places facing pages side by side. The cover stands alone; imported or manually paired pages follow their own pairing.
Steps

Open the Pages panel

Open Pages in the right panel. Click a page to activate it for editing and bring it into view on the canvas. The active page is highlighted in blue, with its number below.
Show pages at the bottom opens an additional page strip below the canvas. This display preference is stored in your browser. If you open a specific page before adding a preset block from Quick tools or Elements, it is centered on that page. If you scroll to another spread and insert without selecting a page, it is centered across the two pages. The new block appears selected, in front of the existing content.

Add a new page

New page inserts an empty page immediately after the active page. To insert elsewhere, first open the page that should precede it.
A new page inherits the catalog page size and the assigned parent template, if there is one.

Duplicate a page

Check the selection box that appears when you hover over a page, then choose Duplicate at the bottom of the panel. The copy, including its blocks, is inserted immediately after the source page.

Change the order

Use the drag handle that appears when you hover over a page to change its position. In the bottom strip, drag the page card. Spread pairing updates to follow the page order.
The page in the first position is displayed alone as the cover.

Select several pages and delete them

Check the selection boxes inside pages, Cmd/Ctrl-click pages, or use Select all. A normal click opens a page; it does not add it to the bulk selection. The selection count and bulk actions appear at the bottom. Check the count in the confirmation before deleting.
Deleting a page deletes its blocks too. The last page of a catalog cannot be deleted.

Hide or show a page

Use page visibility to hide without deleting. Check the selection count for bulk actions. Hidden pages are excluded during publication preparation; show them again and update the publication when needed.

Add page numbers through a master

In master-edit mode, use Add page number in Pages. Place the number token and apply the master to pages. Contents page numbers come from their own heading/page mapping.

Result
Page order determines reading order. Update the publication to show changes to readers; its link and embed code stay the same.
