Work with circular text

Arrange a short phrase around a circle.
Circular text is a special text-block appearance. It becomes straight text while you edit and returns to the circle when you finish.
Follow these steps

Insert circular text

Choose Curved text from the Add text menu. Sample text appears around a circle. This is not a command for attaching text to an arbitrary pen-drawn path.

Replace the wording

Double-click the text, select the sample, and type your own wording. The straight editing view is expected. Press Esc or Command/Ctrl+Enter to finish and review the circle.

Adjust its appearance

With the block selected, set its font, weight, and size. Use Style for text color and letter spacing. Box size and text length determine the circular layout together. Long text may shrink to fit.
The circle uses the block’s shared text settings. Different colors or sizes applied to individual words during editing are not reproduced as individual styles around the circle.

Check the accessible text

Write the content in a meaningful reading sequence. The accessible version presents it as straight text; circular placement does not define reading order. Also check that any reduced lettering remains legible in the visual publication.
Result
Your short phrase follows a circle and remains editable as text.
