Open forms from buttons, cards, and hotspots

Last updated: September 8, 2026 · 1 min read

Open a request form without keeping all its fields on the page.

The form belongs to its triggering block. Forms on different buttons do not automatically become one shared form.

Follow these steps

  1. 1

    Choose the trigger

    PropertiesAction

Choose Form for a button, Order Form as a product-card CTA, or Form popup as a hotspot content type. Edit the form settings in that object’s panel.

  2. 2

    Configure fields

    PropertiesForm

Enter a title and description. Add fields and set type, label, options, and requirement. Reorder with up/down controls and remove unnecessary fields. Specify input purpose for personal information.

  3. 3

    Set response messages

    PropertiesForm

Set the submit text and success message. An order-request form should acknowledge a request rather than imply completed payment. For a product-card trigger, verify the product context in preview.

  4. 4

    Test the popup flow

    EditorPreview

Activate the trigger, check the correct form opens, navigate fields by keyboard, and test required errors and closing. The compact popup editor does not necessarily include every style or notification setting from a page form.
