Edit an image with AI

Apply a shadow, retouching, or a described change to an image.
This workflow replaces the selected image source with its result, unlike Studio’s separate result list.
Follow these steps

Select the image

Select a page image and open its AI tools in Properties. Make sure the source is loaded. You can duplicate it first for a side-by-side comparison.

Choose shadow or retouching
PropertiesAI tools
Choose an available shadow mode. Read transparency guidance: a solid background is different from actual transparency. For retouching, complete the controls in the retouch workspace.

Describe the change
PropertiesEdit with AI
Describe the desired change or scene. Check the quality setting. Reference images are used in the high-quality path; review or remove references before starting.

Evaluate the replacement

When processing completes, inspect the selected image. If product details changed incorrectly, undo or return to the previous image you kept. Recheck crop and alternative text.
Result
Confirm both design fit and product accuracy rather than relying on the success message.
