Add video and configure playback

Follow these steps

   Insert the video

   EditorFiles

   Use video insertion from Files, or Properties > Video on an empty video block. Upload from your computer or select an existing video and wait for completion.

   Set playback

   Set autoplay, loop, mute, and control visibility. Browsers may block audible autoplay, so leave a way for the reader to start playback.

3. 3

   Choose a poster

   PropertiesCover

   Upload or select a poster image. Removing the poster does not remove the video. It controls what appears before playback, not the frames inside the video.

4. 4

   Prepare accessible content

   PropertiesAccessibility

   Complete the video name, audio mode, transcript, captions, and visual description as appropriate. Follow the Video accessibility lesson for details. Recheck old text and tracks after replacing the source.

5. 5

   Test reader playback

   EditorPreview

   Try playback, pause, volume, and looping. After resizing the page block, check that the poster and controls fit.
